Great Great Great Grey Grandson meets Mr
Mountain’s Daughter
Grand Charity Fundraising Gig in Bonnie Scotland!
John is reputed to be a descendant of the French Baroque composer Jean-Philippe Rameau. Cellist Jeanette Mountain is definitely the daughter of the distinguished classical violinist Peter Mountain. Their paths first crossed at Rodway School in Mangotsfield near Bristol in the early 1970s, but their careers went off in different directions and they've never appeared together on the same stage.
Until now! Come and see them if you can at the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy on Friday 13th June. This fabulous one-off gig has been organised by Fife Arts Cooperative, with all the proceeds going to charity, and John and Jeanette are offering their services free of charge.
Anything can happen, and probably will. If it's humanly possible to get yourself to Fife in June, don't miss it!
